Steelnovo awarded the 2026 ADI Compasso d’Oro

Over time, the ADI Compasso d’Oro has become the highest recognition of this culture, celebrating some of the most iconic expressions of Italian creativity and innovation, from the Piaggio Vespa 125 to the Arco lamp by Flos and the Valentine typewriter by Olivetti.

We are proud to announce that the Colnago Steelnovo has been awarded the 2026 ADI Compasso d’Oro, the highest recognition in Italian design and one of the most prestigious design awards in the world.

This achievement places Steelnovo within the ADI Compasso d’Oro Historical Collection, alongside some of the most significant works in the history of Italian design.

Steelnovo represents a contemporary interpretation of steel within modern cycling design. It combines advanced racing geometry, seamless integration and innovative manufacturing techniques, including 3D-printed internal lugs, while preserving the emotional and technical legacy of a material that has been central to Colnago’s history.
