The history of Colnago is rooted in the encounter between craftsmanship and innovation. Today, seventy years after its foundation, this spirit is renewed through an ever-stronger commitment to sustainability. The 2024 Sustainability Report tells the story of a path we are building: a future where quality, performance, and responsibility coexist in harmony.
For Colnago, technical excellence cannot be separated from respect for people and the environment. Every choice – from materials to design, from governance to employee policies – is guided by the desire to generate lasting value, both inside and outside the company.
In 2024 we took concrete steps to monitor and reduce our environmental footprint. Thanks to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, we calculated our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, gaining a clear picture of where to take action.
We have already begun reducing non-recyclable packaging materials, replacing polystyrene with paper and cardboard where possible, and we are exploring new solutions to gradually eliminate plastic without compromising the quality and safety of our products.
We believe that Colnago’s success is inseparable from the well-being of those who work with us. In 2024 we strengthened work-life balance policies, introduced team-building activities, created communal spaces to encourage social interaction, and launched welfare programs dedicated to physical and psychological health.
Sustainable growth requires a clear and responsible management model. For this reason, we updated our internal regulations and are working on the introduction of a Code of Ethics. The double materiality analysis allowed us to assess not only environmental and social impacts but also financial risks and opportunities linked to ESG factors, reinforcing the foundation of our future decisions.
Our journey does not end here. We are looking forward with the ambition to integrate low-impact technologies into our new facility and to collaborate with research institutions to develop innovative materials.
