A closer look at the Colnago Y1Rs that closed out the 2025 Tour de France

For the final stage of the 2025 Tour de France — the one that crowns champions — Tadej Pogačar rode a one-of-a-kind Colnago Y1Rs. This is the aero model he relied on throughout the entire Tour, reimagined here in a striking celebratory livery: two shades of yellow blending into the rainbow bands of the World Champion — a fitting tribute to a dominant campaign.

But the road to Paris was also a journey of relentless technical refinement. For the crucial uphill time trial, Pogačar opted for a special ultralight version of the Y1Rs: stripped of bottle cages and bar tape, built with only one thing in mind — performance without compromise. Then, from the Mont Ventoux stage onward, he rode a raw black frame, completely unpainted to save every possible gram — a 20g reduction that speaks volumes about the obsession for marginal gains.

This gallery captures the final, iconic evolution of Pogačar’s machine. A tribute to his style, his power, and Colnago’s uncompromising vision of racing perfection.
