C29 Italia

The C29 Italia is the top of the Colnago moun­tain bike range for 2013 and is built using made to mea­sure car­bon fibre tubing.

The frame weighs just 1150g and is made using shaped Master Type II top and down tubes. The tubes have a rein­forc­ing that runs the length of the tube to max­imise rigid­ity. The same rein­forc­ing runs along the rear stays.

Colnago uses eight dif­fer­ent types of car­bon fibre for the C29 Italia frame. The inter­nal area of the tubes is made from 1k car­bon fibre, the lugs use Nano-technology and the exter­nal area of the tube is made from 3k car­bon fibre.

The C29 Italia has a tapered 1’ 1/2′” – 1’1/8” head tube to give bet­ter bike han­dling. The rear brake is a post mount 140mm disk brake, with the pos­si­bil­ity of using 160mm disk.

This lat­est Colnago moun­tain bike is the result of decades of devel­op­ment and trade­marked car­bon lugged frame tech­nol­ogy. Something only Colnago can deliver.
